Features
The DM-2 meter provides clear and concise data to help you maintain optimal water quality. It features both in and out electrode probes, allowing you to easily monitor the TDS levels of both feed water and product water.
Crafted for ease of use, this meter includes an auto-off feature that preserves battery life by turning off after 3 minutes of idleness. Additionally, troubleshooting and maintenance are simplified with diagnostic error messages and shielded sensor cables.
Running on two AA batteries, this TDS meter delivers prolonged functionality for continuous monitoring.
What distinguishes the DM-2 from the DM-1 is its suitability for commercial applications, featuring a robust and water-resistant casing. Additionally, it offers digital calibration for each line individually, an improved design highlighted by a large LCD display for enhanced readability, a variable mounting bracket, and longer waterproof shielded cables.
Installation
The configuration options for the DM-2 meter are flexible and can be adjusted according to your specific requirements. Typically, the IN line is linked to the source water, while the OUT line is connected to the product water.
- Start by inserting the two sensors fully into the bottom of two T-fittings (sold separately).
- Orient the sensor pins so that they are perpendicular to the direction of the T-fitting. The water should flow over both pins equally.
- Disconnect the water source.
- Snip the source water tube at a point between the source and the filter. Insert both ends of the tube into the top of the IN line sensor's T-fitting.
- Snip the product water tube at a point between the filter and a dispenser. Insert both ends of the tube into the top of the OUT line sensor's T-fitting
- The DM-2 meter can be attached anywhere on or near your pure water system using the included mounting bracket, which can be secured by screws or adhesive tape.
- Reconnect the water source.
*This TDS Meter is not fully waterproof. Only the testing tip should be submerged.
