Window cleaner and musician Steve Davis is interviewed by AWC. Davis explains how window cleaning gives him the flexibility which most jobs wouldn't give to allow him to pursue his music career. He recalls traveling to India for four months while his window cleaning business operated seamlessly without him.

Most buildings are not properly equipped to ensure the safety of high-rise window cleaners. High-rise building consultant Eric J. Cox specializes in safety and oftentimes has safety meetings with building owners. Cox claims 9/10 buildings aren't safe without any consideration for the window cleaner.
